If they do, I'll have to call the paramedics to at least 2 million Sony fanboy homes across America. LOL!!! Anyway, I've been supporting HD-DVD for awhile. But, I have no problem revamping my HD-DVD collection to go Blu-Ray. THe VP stated that what "hardware" people can afford matters. Everyone is not going to buy a PS3 just because it's the "cheapest" Blu-Ray player. Why?! Everyone is not playing video games. IMO, Blu-Ray needs a price cut for their "Stand Alone...
I've been supporting HD-DVD for awhile, but WB goes Blu-Ray, the game is officially over for HD-DVD. I have no problem starting a Blu-Ray collection.
That this 1080i player outsold the 1080p HD-DVD & Blu-Ray players.
Excuse me for giving the PS3 the benefit of the doubt. Besides you childish insult, nothing intelligent for you to bring to the conversation?!
6 million PS3's worldwide = 6 million Blu-Ray players
Unknown number of "Stand-Alone" Blu-Ray players
11 million 360's worldwide (optional HD-DVD)
If every PS3 owner brought at least "1" Blu-Ray movie, that's 6 million Blu-Ray movies sold.
But if only 2.6 million brought Blu-Ray movies, what's the numbers between the PS3 and Stand-Alone Blu-Ray players?!
But yet, HD-DVD movies trails behind by ...
The sound quality on my 7.1 Surround Sound for Transformers HD-DVD knocked pictures off my walls. You got to remember one thing, everyone does not own a 1080p HDTV and have a "state-of-the-art" surround system in their homes.
When I hooked a VGA cable (from my 360) to my Samsung 56' HDTV, I noticed I cannot adjust the color scheme. Has anyone experience or have a answer?!
I used a fiber optic cable (for sound) with my DVI cable on my old 52' RCA 1080i HDTV running thru a Onyko reciever. Or you can go with componet for audio also.
There have been numerous reports about Blu-Ray. Now this is a report about HD-DVD. What's the diffrence?!
The next time you have someting to say, don't be G@Y and PM me!! Speak your mind on this message board like everyone else. Since you gave me a dissagree and said that I was "false" with my statement, please elaborate.

Stand alone High-Def player for the people who own 480p/720p/1081i HDTV's?! I have some fact's for you..
Fact #1- Everybody dosen't own a HDTV that puts out 1080p.
Fact #2- There are 100x more people who watch movies rather than play video games (and movies).
Fact #3- A "STAND ALONE" DVD player will always surpass a video-game console.
If anyone find my fact's false. Please let me know.
And who said that these numbers presentated hear are not false also?!! I get a laugh everytime I read these threads.
I see you cannot have an intellectual conversation about this topic on this website. But there are some cool people here that you can talk to.
HD-DVD & Blu-Ray have some years to come before they'll take over DVD9. The only way Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will move if the players and movies cost the same as DVD9. And I don't think that's going to happen no time soon.
If someone offered you $150 million, you're go going to say no?!! If you did, you are a new fool!! The knew they were going to make "double to triple" the money on DVD9 over Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. I try to understand some of you guys logic. Combine the sales of Blu-Ray and HD-DVD to the sales of DVD9 "Transformers", which format sold the most?!
If Blu-Ray (and HD-DVD) was doing that good. Why everytime you look around both offering up to 7 movies free. Of course the PS3 was a "BIG" factor from the start. Hollywood already knows between the 2 who has a lead (for know). Hollywood is not relying on a "Game Console" to determine who will win this format. DVD9 is still the King.
Prime: "Bumblebee, stop lubercating the man"!!!
LOL!!
I could care less about storage space. Just give me a good 1080p movie. Do you think everyone in the world are "Tech Savvy" about storage space for HD-DVD and Blu-Ray?! No there not!! I thought Betamax was better than VHS. But who won in the end and what was the time frame Beta got smoked by VHS?!
For a man to admit he is wrong on this board, bubble for you.
